De Wijkamer

Within walking distance of De Maashorst lies De Wijkamer: a cosy and sustainable nature cottage surrounded by greenery. From the comfortable seating area by the wood stove, you look out through large windows onto the chickens and horses around the cabin. The mezzanine features a comfortable double bed, and outside you’ll find a private terrace with a barbecue. De Wijkamer is furnished with recycled and vintage materials and radiates peace, simplicity and warmth. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (by arrangement), it is possible to book a horse coaching session. In the immediate surroundings, you can walk or cycle through 1,800 hectares of forest and heathland in De Maashorst, where you may encounter wisents, tauros cattle and Exmoor ponies. Charming towns and cities such as Nijmegen and 's-Hertogenbosch are just a short drive away.
