De Meuleberg boutique suites
Opposite the mill in Melick, in the rolling landscape of Central Limburg and close to De Meinweg National Park, lies De Meuleberg. This accommodation is part of Oetsjpanning de Meuleberg, run by Bas and Karin van Bommel. What started in 2004 as a restaurant with a terrace and was later expanded with “de Oetdaging,” was further extended in the summer of 2025 with eight unique Boutique Suites. The suites are spacious, bright and carefully designed to offer a comfortable stay surrounded by nature. Guests enjoy an extra-large king-size bed, a private seating area and modern amenities such as air conditioning and coffee and tea facilities. Some suites feature French doors opening onto a private terrace, while others have a French balcony, all with views over the surrounding meadows and the characteristic mill. Peace, nature and genuine hospitality are central, complemented by the house’s artisanal kitchen, where Bas – originally trained as a baker – prepares fresh breads and traditional Limburg flans every day.
