For over twenty years, Johan and Anne-Marie have been welcoming guests to their well-known Eetkaffee Poseidon. Everything is homemade and freshly prepared, right down to the mayonnaise. Visitors immediately feel at home thanks to the warm service and cosy atmosphere. The menu features fresh fish dishes and Hereford or Simmental rib-eye, but the true stars of the house are the North Sea bouillabaisse and the Ostend-style shrimp croquettes, praised by many as the best they’ve ever had. From 9:30 a.m., you can drop by for a coffee and the morning paper, enjoy the extensive beer list with trappist and local brews, or choose from twenty Kusmi loose-leaf teas and a variety of lattes.
