The brewery in Wijer came to life thanks to their neighbor Ben, who passed on his passion for brewing to Tom. What began as a shared hobby soon grew into a true microbrewery, where Tom and Caroline pour their creativity into crafting distinctive, characterful beers. Tom and Caroline live with their two sons in Wijer, where fate not only brought them together but also planted the seed for their brewery. When Tom’s mother once gifted a young hop plant to Caroline’s father, no one could have imagined that this very hop would one day flavor a beer named in her honor. Today, Verloren Blond and Verloren Donker proudly represent the brewery, named after Verlaerstraat, the street where it all began. Visitors are warmly invited to relax on the garden terrace and enjoy local craft beers, homemade cakes, and the beautiful Limburg countryside.
