Merino

The idea of opening a café came to Nele and Lieselot already in their youth, when they were both active in the Chiro. After completing their university studies, they each built a career in their own field, but their passion for hospitality never disappeared. With great enthusiasm, Nele and Lieselot eventually decided to take the leap. MERINO is a warm neighbourhood café with a small but carefully curated menu full of freshly prepared dishes. They see Merino as a cosy place where everyone is welcome to enjoy a drink and a light bite. Good food, a lively yet pleasant atmosphere, and friendly, efficient service are at the heart of what they do. Just outside Ghent, Nele and Lieselot have created an authentic little gem where locals and passers-by immediately feel at home.
