At the idyllic Bargeweg 13 in Bruges, along the Ghent–Bruges–Ostend canal, a remarkable piece of heritage lies moored: Lichtschip Mayflower. This charming former lightship has been welcoming guests for many years as a bar, tavern, restaurant, and tea room, radiating a unique and warm atmosphere. For over 34 years, Anja has warmly welcomed her guests aboard. What once braved the open sea is now a place where conviviality, hospitality, and enjoyment take center stage. Inside, guests are immersed in a cozy maritime ambiance, while outside, the sun terrace in front of the ship offers the perfect spot to relax with a drink or a bite, overlooking the water. When weather conditions allow, the rooftop terrace is also open. This exceptional location is equally suitable for private receptions of up to 40 guests, offering an original and intimate setting for memorable occasions. The kitchen is open continuously, allowing guests to enjoy delicious dishes at any time of day. The location is ideal as well, just 500 meters from the train station and 100 meters from the Minnewater. In addition to great food, music is another strong asset. Soft background music completes the experience and sets the perfect tone.
