The Catch

The Catch is a cosy seafood and cocktail bar in the heart of Ostend, just a stone’s throw from the beach. Everything here revolves around fresh, locally sourced fish and refined drinks served in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Behind the stove and the bar stand just two people – a chef and a bartender – who prepare everything fresh each day, right to the minute. No classic seafood dishes, but creative, no-nonsense plates with fish in the spotlight: from white-fish tacos and crispy cod-cheek fish & chips to poke bowls, grilled razor clams, homemade shrimp croquettes, scallops and oysters. The menu changes monthly, with a new special every week. The fish comes from Het Vispaleis, a proud Ostend fishmonger renowned for its daily fresh quality and craftsmanship.
