De Waterputhoeve

The Waterputhoeve, located in the Meetjesland creek area near the Leopold Canal, was transformed into a charming bed and breakfast in 2000. From here, guests can cycle or walk along the canal towards Damme and Bruges, or take a trip across the nearby Dutch border to Aardenburg and Sluis. The coast is also within easy reach: in just half an hour you can be in Knokke or Cadzand. The B&B offers four double rooms, one triple room, and several accommodations with kitchen and living space, making it ideal for families or groups of up to twenty people. All rooms have private bathrooms and are decorated with beautiful 3D oil paintings. Sint-Laureins, home of the Waterputhoeve, is also renowned for its culinary traditions, especially eel dishes. Pets are welcome—except, with a wink, elephants and giraffes. ;-)
