Begijnhoeve Oorbeek is a family business with a long tradition of artisanal ice cream, sorbets and homemade Brussels waffles. The story began in 1954 with Bakery De Mol in Wilsele and grew in 1974 into a beloved ice cream parlor in Aarschot, known for its honest and delicious treats. In 1988, Marleen De Mol, together with her husband Eddie, continued the craft with the same focus on quality and tradition. Today, the third generation welcomes guests in Oorbeek, where since 2015 everyone can enjoy this proud family heritage. The Begijnhoeve is known for its warm, child-friendly atmosphere. In summer, children can play freely in the garden while parents relax on the sunny terrace; on less pleasant days, a cozy indoor play corner provides fun for all. With dedicated facilities for the little ones and special attention at the table, every visit becomes a delightful experience.
