Our experience
We visited Giri and received a very warm welcome. We enjoyed some lovely wines: a Grüner Veltliner (listed as ‘Waltner’ on the menu) and the ‘Black Gorilla’, a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both were very good. We were just a bit too early to try the bar bites (available from 3pm), but we went for the spitburger instead — and it was absolutely delicious! We were seated by the window with a view of the water, and together with the cozy interior, it made the experience even more enjoyable. Winston was not forgotten either: he was immediately offered a bowl of water and clearly felt welcome. This is the kind of place where you can easily spend the whole day: start with brunch, move on to aperitifs, and finish with bar bites and cocktails.
